Ubiquity University’s Wisdom School offers a number of summer learning journeys led by experts in the field that explore these themes in a positive environment, with an open-hearted, mindful community. Each week-long course focuses on a unique concept with the goal of expanding your mind and elevating your spirit.

1. The Cosmic Dance of Astronomica, Chartres, France July 7-13, 2019

• What is this course about?

Astronomica is the 7th and highest of the classical liberal arts. It is the study of the cosmos and the interconnectedness of all things in the universe. For this course, we will journey to the ancient city of Chartres to contemplate the movement of the stars and planets and their effect on our psyches, destinies, and the state of the world. Activities include walking the spectacular labyrinth in the cathedral, lecture and discussion with our faculty of leading thinkers including Rick Tarnas and Linda Tucker, dance and movement, singing, ritual, dreamwork, and meditative time in the Chartres Cathedral, considered by many to be the most magnificent Cathedral in the world.

2. The Mystics of Paris, Paris, France July 14-20, 2019

• What is this course about?

In Mystics of Paris, we will explore the unique history, architecture, sacred geometry, and beauty of Paris. Each day, will go on a walking tour of a different part of the city. Spiritual teachers and authors Andrew Harvey and Caroline Myss will lead this pilgrimage and shed light on the great mystics who once called Paris home. Starting with the exuberance of Bastille Day festivities and ending with a ceremony on the grounds of Notre Dame de Paris, Mystics of Paris will be a week of exploring Paris as you have never done before.

3. Madonna Rising, Chartres, France August 12-19, 2019

• What is this course about?

Madonna Rising celebrates the rising energy of the feminine and her union with the masculine at Chartres. In this course, we will journey into some of the feminine archetypes represented in the Chartres Cathedral, and contemplate the emergence of women around the world as patriarchy is in collapse. Ritual, dance, music, dreamwork and lectures from our renowned faculty like Anne Baring and Banafsheh Sayyad will augment the magic of walking the labyrinth, participating in the procession of the Black Madonna in the city of Chartres, and meditation in the Cathedral.
